I'm just your average run-of-the-mill sci-fi geek. Most of my days are spent creating jewelry, playing with my cats, and watching my extensive collection of sci-fi DVDs. I like to use my weekends hiking, camping, and doing photography. There really aren't nearly enough weekends like that!

I am the owner of Lava Jewelry and Fresh Picked Candles . Lava Jewelry features sterling silver gemstone jewelry that I make in my home studio using tradtional metalsmithing and wirewrapping techniques. I specialize in birthstone jewelry and earrings with hypoallergenic metals like titanium. My work is nature-inspired, and it is always feminine.

I also sell handmade soy and palm wax candles in my Fresh Picked Candles shops. I use top-quality natural waxes, fragrances, and all-cotton wicks. I offer 12 fruity scents as well as unscented candles and custom created candles for special occasions.
